Joel is our neighborhood liaison to Des Moines Park & Recreation where he works as Supervisor of Environmental Education. In his job, Joel creates opportunities in our city parks that promote education about our natural environment and wildlife. He keeps busy organizing snowshoe hikes, teaching about native species of plants for your flower garden, or conducting a birdhouse building workshop.
